I am an Illinois native! I made the big move to Tennessee in 2010, graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Tennessee Tech University, and have been teaching science at South for SIX years now. I am married to John Bush and together we have three daughters; Janie Mae and twin girls, Addie and Clara.
My Classroom:
For 7th grade, the two biggest topics we will learn about are the periodic table (elements and how they bond) and the human body (how cells function/interact to carry out human life). As a teacher, my goal is to help children learn in a hands on environment; we move, we create, we interact, and we have fun while learning all of our science topics! It is my hope that your child leaves my class with a love for all things science!
